Shipping And Local Pickup


Congrats, your item sold! Now what?

Complete the sale by shipping the item or coordinating a local pickup. Options depend on what was selected during the listing process:

  • Shipping
  • Shipping and Local Pickup
  • Local Pickup Only

Please Note: While all payment transactions are to be completed through the site for your safety and security, we do understand that local pickup and delivery are something of interest for those in close proximity. After payment is completed on the In Search Of Powersports Parts website, you can coordinate local pickup/delivery with the other party. In Search of Powersports encourages you to use caution when meeting with unknown parties. In Search of Powersports Parts cannot be held responsible for the events occurring during a local pickup and delivery.

Shipping

Preparing the Package

  • Use a sturdy box with 2 inches of space around the item.
  • Add protective padding to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Seal the package securely.

Creating a Shipping Label (Transactions can not be cancelled after a shipping label is create)

  • After the buyer pays through Stripe, go to Manage Transactions.
  • Use the integrated Shippo tool to create your label.

Shipping Options (Set during listing creation)

  • Standard – Requires accurate package dimensions for real-time rate calculation.
  • Freight – For shipments over 150 lbs, fulfilled via FedEx through Shippo.
  • Flate Rate– Seller selects a fixed shipping cost during listing creation. (Be aware that if an inaccurate flat rate dollar amount is entered and it is too low, the seller will be responsible for additional charges).

Shipping Timeline

  • Items must be shipped within 3 business days after label creation.

Entering Tracking Info

  • After shipping, enter the tracking number in the Manage Transactions area.
  • This allows the buyer to track delivery.

Getting Paid

  • After the buyer confirms delivery, funds are released to your account.
